Hi - I'm Emma!

I'm a snowbird in my 30s, splitting my year between Chicago and Scottsdale.

I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and moved to the city in 2017. I LOVE Chicago, it holds a special place in my heart. I  truly feel lucky to call Chicago my home. The vibrant streets and bustling energy make it a place unlike any other. Every time I see the city skyline, I get this warm and fuzzy feeling; it's a feeling I can never get enough of. The only thing I don't love about Chicago is the cold and snowy winters.

Over the past few years, I grew a strong passion for traveling. It got me thinking, why should I have to endure another Chicago winter? So in the winter of 2023, I decided to take the leap and work remotely from anywhere. I spent that winter exploring various cities, trying to find my perfect match. And after months of travel, I finally found the one - Scottsdale. 

Fast forward to the winter of 2024, filled with excitement for a new adventure, I packed my bags and drove across the country with my dog to spend my entire winter in Scottsdale. It's the place that I currently get to call my second home. 

In recent years, traveling is one of the few things that truly makes me feel alive. I genuinely enjoy the planning process as much as the actual trip itself. My love for travel has only grown stronger, and it has become an integral part of my life. That's why I can't wait to embark on new adventures and share them with you. 

Everywhere Emma is a place where I can share my passion for travel and provide recommendations based on my personal experiences for Chicago, Scottsdale or elsewhere. I plan to continue writing about my adventures, sharing insider tips, and highlighting the hidden gems I discover along the way.
